Protecting your personal data matters to me. I process data strictly within the bounds of applicable law (GDPR, German BDSG). This policy explains the nature, scope and purpose of processing on this website.

3. Hosting & server logs

This website is hosted by [hosting provider, e.g. Vercel/Netlify/Hetzner]. On access, the provider automatically collects server log files (IP address, date and time, file requested, data volume, browser/OS, referrer). The legal basis is my legitimate interest in secure, stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), covered by a data-processing agreement where required.

4. Cookies & local storage

This site uses only strictly necessary cookies / local storage to remember your settings:

• darkmode – remembers your light/dark theme choice.
• i18n_lang – remembers your language (German/English).

This storage is required for the site to function; no consent is needed and no tracking takes place.

5. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from this server (self-hosted). No data is sent to third parties such as Google Fonts.

6. Contact

If you contact me by email or phone, I process your details to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or (f) (legitimate interest in replying). Data is deleted once no longer required and no retention obligations apply.
