Designer & developer · Rosenheim

I design and build websites that feel like someone actually made them.

I'm Max. Since 2018 I've been making sites for ateliers, studios, festivals and brands that would rather be remembered than blend in. Design and code from one person, so nothing gets lost between the two.

01About

Small studio, one person, a lot of care.

Most websites get assembled. I'd rather make yours: a clear idea first, then type, colour and motion that serve it, then code that keeps it fast. You always talk to the person doing the work, and the details still hold up a year after launch.

Festival · Creative Development

A festival website as a space of possibility — loud typography, loose grids, warm noise.

03Services

What I do

Five things I'm good at, usually combined in one project.

  • 01Web development

Bespoke sites with Nuxt, Next.js, Vue and React. Fast, accessible and easy for you to edit.

  • 02Mobile apps

Apps with Expo and React Native, one codebase for iOS and Android.

  • 03E-commerce

Shopify and custom shops that sell and still look like your brand.

  • 04Creative direction

Concept, visual language and art direction, so every touchpoint feels like the same idea.

  • 053D & motion

Interactive 3D in the browser with Three.js and shaders, and motion that guides instead of distracts.

04Process

How a project runs

No mystery, no surprise invoices. Four steps, and you can see the work at every one of them.

  1. 01

    Conversation

We talk about what you need, who it's for and what it should feel like. You get an honest take on scope and budget.

  2. 02

    Concept & design

A clear direction in type, colour and layout before any code. You see it early and often, not in one big reveal.

  3. 03

    Build

Fast, accessible code, tested on real devices. You get a preview link and watch it grow.

  4. 04

    Launch & care

I launch it, show you how to edit it, and stay around for updates afterwards.

05Journal

Notes from the desk

I write about design, code and the side projects that happen in between.
